David Clarke - Fraud advisory panel discussing the new Financial Fraud task Force

David Clarke head of translation compliance and multi-lingual due-diligence at Today Advisory , former head of the City of London Police Fraud Squad, Trustee and member of the Fraud Advisory Panel and associate of the Centre for Investigative Learning recently provided his views on Government’s new Joint Fraud Task Force on the BBC Radio 5 Live programme, Wake Up to Money.

Whilst supporting the new initiative which will “bring the collective powers, systems and resources of banks, payment providers, police, wider law enforcement and regulators to bear on the fraud threat” such an initiative between banks and the authorities has taken so long to become active considering it has been on the agenda for almost 10 years.
