Following a lengthy development process in 2017 Bob Pointer commenced an association with Volvo Trucks providing courses for both Volvo Trucks and its franchisees.
The first Volvo Trucks course was held in April 2017 when he delivered an Effective Conversations pilot course to sales professionals from across the U.K. and Ireland.
This will be followed by a purposeful business Conversations Course for the senior management team of Volvo Trucks East Anglia region.
Between August and November 2017 a programme was devised in conjunction with David Sullivan (Regional Manager) and Matt Sadler (Sales Director) Volvo Trucks East Anglia. This unique programme of four modules adopted a forensic approach to individual aspects of the sales process. Adopting the perspective of the customer it encouraged participants to consider how to effectively create, build and manage a positive relationship from awareness through purchase to a long term relationship and brand advocacy.
Participants were introduced to the benefits of adopting a collaborative and supporting role based on customer needs and expectations and the building of positive meaningful relationships. Formal didactic presentations were supplemented with activities, quizzes and tests aimed to improve the communication,listening and influencing skills of participants
