CFIL were approached to tender for a specialist series of courses for key personnel within the CMA. The approach was prompted by work CFIL had undertaken previously with the Office of Fair Trading where we had provided professional development in investigative conversations skills across many areas.

CFIL were successful in our tender and were commissioned to design, develop and deliver a bespoke course to assist CMA staff interacting with business subject to regulatory enquiry.

After initial needs analysis and client interaction had been undertaken, a bespoke 3 day course was developed using our Effective Investigative Conversations course framework. Further tailoring was made to complement the unique terms and conditions under which the CMA operate and the course was delivered to key personnel from across the organisation.

The method of delivery – which consisted of 2 days learning through multimedia presentation, activities and group work followed by a day of practical interaction with specially trained role players – received extremely favourable response for both content and delivery.
